Together with our knowledgeable and caring staff, Drs. Tyler M. Wilson, DDS and Marshall S. Humes, DDS work hard to provide quality oral surgical care to Santa Maria and the surrounding area. We are here to help patients of all ages find solutions for their oral health problems. We aim to create a warm, welcoming environment for patients to face the often intimidating possibility of oral surgery. If you are experiencing any issues with your dental health or are unsure where to start, do not delay. When left untreated, many dental problems can only get worse with time. Our team is here to help.
Maxillofacial surgery (such as sedation oral surgery, jaw surgery, pre-prosthetic surgery, and sinus lift surgery) allows us to address issues of facial trauma, jaw pain, or oral pathology. We use oral biopsies, and dental CT scans to assist in diagnosis when necessary. We also offer a platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) treatment. Our surgeons can provide a variety of procedures, including dentoalveolar surgery such as wisdom teeth extractions, other types of tooth extractions, and bone grafting. Dental implant reconstructive surgery (including tooth replacements, All-on-4® implants, implant bridges, single tooth implants, multiple tooth implants, and implant-supported dentures) is also available.
To accurately treat our patients, our team must gather information on a patient’s medical history, current condition, allergies, insurance, and any other relevant knowledge. If applicable, please provide us with your surgical referral slip and any X-rays, along with a list of any medications you are currently taking. Our doctors will then conduct a comprehensive examination to develop the individualized treatment and surgical plan you need. Since no two patients are the same, open communication with your treatment team and a personalized plan are critical to helping ensure your surgery’s continued success. We are here for any treatment plan revisions or follow-up appointments you may need.
