      Tyler M. Wilson, DDS

      Tyler M. Wilson, DDS

      After obtaining his dental degree, he began a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. His specialty training involved comprehensive experience in trauma, dentoalveolar surgery, TMJ, dental implants, bone grafting, oral pathology, and orthognathic surgery. He received his specialty certificate in 2008 and entered private practice in Santa Maria, where the emphasis of his scope is dentoalveolar surgery, implants, bone grafting, and oral and maxillofacial pathology.

      Dr. Wilson and his wife Susie are pleased to be settled on the Central Coast with their four young children. He is a diplomate of the Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Wilson is on staff at Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria and is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Central Coast Dental Society.

      Diplomate, American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

      In order to become board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Wilson completed an intensive application and examination process. After providing evidence of exemplary experience in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Wilson was required to pass both a written and qualifying examination and a rigorous oral certifying examination. Diplomates maintain current competency by ongoing continuing education and are re-certified every ten years by a comprehensive examination.

      Marshall S. Humes, DDS

      Marshall S. Humes, DDS

      We’re happy to have Dr Marshall Humes at our practice! He recently returned to his home here on the Central Coast and brings over 35 years of oral surgery experience, with over 30 years serving the Santa Maria and Arroyo Grande Communities. Dr Humes is highly respected within our local dental community for his excellent care and professionalism, and we are grateful to have him here to serve you and your family.

      A native Californian, Dr. Humes grew up in the greater Los Angeles area. Following his undergraduate education, he was accepted into early admission at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He graduated with honors and continued his education in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Medical Center.

      Dr. Humes was the founder and managing partner in a private Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice in the Central Coast of California until his commission in the United States Army and United States Air Force stationed him first in Germany, then at Joint Base Langley/Eustis Virginia, where he served as Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, serving members of all branches of the military and their families. Following his retirement from Active Duty, he continued his service to veterans as chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, Richmond Virginia.

      Dr. Humes is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, a fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Southern California Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology.

      Dr and Mrs. Humes have 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren.

      Angie’s love for Dentistry started in 1998 as a Registered Dental Assistant. Upon relocating to Santa Maria, she was hired at Wilson Oral Surgery and has been part of the practice since 2003. Angie’s top concern is providing a positive patient experience and she enjoys working alongside a compassionate team who also share the same goal. Together with her husband of over 20 years, Angie loves to spend time with their little girl and volunteering within the community.

      Scheduling Coordinator

      Elizabeth's love for dentistry started in 2013. It quickly became her new life long career and in 2017 she decided to expand her knowledge in our specialized field at Wilson Oral Surgery. Elizabeth now enjoys helping both our English and Spanish speaking patients with their scheduling needs. When away from the office, she enjoys spending time on the Central Coast with her family and friends.

      Amanda’s career as a Billing Coordinator began in 1998, and has been a proud to be part of the Wilson Oral Surgery team since 2008. Amanda is a very detail oriented, quality focused professional billing specialist. When she in not at the office, Amanda loves spending time with her cat "Cali" and family/friends enjoying barbecue and some of our finest central coast wines.

      Treatment Coordinator

      Dena started with Wilson Oral Surgery in 2013 as a Treatment Coordinator. Dena has been a huge asset by bringing her previous 18-years of OB/GYN medical field experience with her. She now sees patients that she once knew for their pregnancy bringing their babies, now teenagers, in for their wisdom teeth surgeries. Dena, enjoys being a team player and helping our patients meet their dental needs. In her time away from our office she enjoys spending time with her family, going for hikes and playing with all her great nieces and nephews.

      Lauren Padilla

      Implant Coordinator

      Lauren Padilla started her oral surgery career handling front office duties and sharpening her multi-tasking skills. Her curiosity of surgical assisting peaked in 2016 when she transferred to the back-office and has never looked back! She is now our lead surgical assistant as well as Implant Coordinator. Lauren strives to make patients feel comfortable and at ease in our office. A native to the Central Coast, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and two children soaking up the sun at the lake.

      Kasi started in the dental field in 2017. Working in the front office handling a variety of tasks. In 2021 working as a treatment coordinator, Kasi decided to leap into oral surgery assisting and is loving every minute of it! When Kasi isn’t at work getting to know her patients and assisting them, she is out playing softball and enjoying walks with her dog Jax’n.

      Griselda originally entered dentistry in 2004. Griselda is a RDA and she truly enjoys assisting during oral surgeries. Griselda has been with Wilson Oral Surgery since January 2022. When Griselda is not at the office she finds happiness in outdoor activities such as hiking, long walks, working out and spending time with her husband, 3 children and their dog Archie the Frenchie.

      Breanna Garland

      Surgical Assistant

      Breanna started her oral surgery career as a sterilization tech in 2018. Since then, she has furthered her knowledge and skills as a surgical assistant and is proud to have received her Oral Surgery Surgical Assistant Certification. Breanna is a kind, caring, honest person with a firm belief in compassionate patient care and satisfaction. She enjoys being a mom and spending time with her two children. A recent first-time family trip to Disneyland has been a highlight of this year thus far.
